OROCUBE began in 2008, when Denny’s Restaurants hired our team to build a restaurant POS system. That project led to the release of Floreant POS, which became the #1 open-source POS, now used in over 266,000 stores across 25 countries.

In 2015, we partnered with ForeTees, the third-largest club management company in the U.S., delivering a Salesforce-integrated Club POS used by nearly 300 private clubs.

By 2020, we expanded globally, launching OCTAVE—a rebranded Club POS developed for Clubs New Zealand, bringing our trusted technology to the Southern Hemisphere

In 2025, we launched Membrane AI—shortened to Membai—as a natural evolution of our platform thinking. While our earlier tools solved operational needs for clubs and retailers, Membai was designed to address larger systemic challenges: the need for modular intelligence, interoperable automation, and decision infrastructure in complex environments. From research institutions and NGOs to telecom and healthcare to retail, Membai powers the intelligence layer behind critical systems, helping organizations think, adapt, and act with clarity.

Built on the same engineering principles that shaped Floreant and OCTAVE, Membai connects traditional databases with modern AI pipelines—bridging the gap between legacy operations and future-facing workflows. It is now being piloted across verticals where data needs to flow securely, ethically, and intelligently. Whether supporting public services, impact ventures, or national-scale logistics, Membai reflects our long-term vision: to empower small to large systems with big thinking.
